How It Works
Japanese and Korean vehicles use tri- and quad-coat acrylic paints that are trans-baked for exceptional hardness — but that hardness comes with a trade-off: they scratch more easily than European or domestic finishes. Japon™ is calibrated specifically for these surfaces, laying down a 37% Yellow Carnauba protective layer that bonds to acrylic paint and shields it from the fine scratches and environmental damage that dull the finish over time.
Directions for Use
Apply a thin, even coat with the included Zymöl Wax Applicator™ using straight, overlapping lines — not circular motions. Allow the wax to rest for 30–60 seconds, then buff to a brilliant shine with a Zymöl Microwipe™.

Pro Tip
If your vehicle has a tri- or quad-coat finish — common on Honda, Toyota, Lexus, Infiniti, Hyundai, and Kia — Japon™ is the correct choice over a general-purpose wax. The right formula for the right paint makes a visible difference.

Wash and dry the car using Zymöl Clear™ Auto Bathe.
HD-Cleanse™ the surface to assure 100% wax bonding.
Using the Zymöl Wax Applicator™, apply a very small amount of wax onto a 2ft x 2ft surface in an even coat with side-to-side motions.
Using a Zymöl Microwipe™, with light pressure, slowly wipe the wax in the opposite direction once, affirming a uniform coverage. Wait for 20-30 seconds.
With medium pressure, slowly rub the surface.
Turn your Microwipe™ and wipe slowly to crystalize the wax to a deep shine.
Let the wax cure 30-45 minutes.
You must use Zymöl HD-Cleanse to remove old wax, tar, and stains before applying any Zymöl Waxes or Glazes; otherwise, they will not bond to the paint surface.
Zymöl waxes are designed to provide maximum results with minimum product application.
Apply very small amounts of Zymöl wax for each application. Do not allow any Zymöl wax to entirely dry before wiping.
You may apply several coats after the initial cure time.
Store in the refrigerator. All waxes and glazes have an indefinite shelf life if stored properly.
For best results, allow the wax to warm to room temperature prior to use.
