Tack oils, skin oils, and horse sweat create a sticky adhesive on saddle pads, blankets, and turnout sheets that traps dirt, dust, and harmful pollutants deep in the fabric. RUX™ is a phosphorous-free, solvent-free, carbon dioxide-charged dry-wash concentrate that lifts and removes all of it — without disturbing the inherent properties of the material.

How It Works

RUX™ is mixed with CO2-charged seltzer water (low/no sodium), which activates the cleaning concentrate and helps it penetrate fabric fibers without over-wetting. The Tallow Soaps and Citric Acid lift oils and pollutants from the fiber, while the dry-wash approach — spray, stand, brush, vacuum — removes contamination without the moisture damage that traditional washing can cause.

Directions for Use

Pour RUX™ to the line marked “1” on the EquineSkys Schpritzer Bottle. Add CO2-charged seltzer water (low/no sodium) to your desired concentration — 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 — as marked on the bottle. Swirl gently to mix. Spray evenly onto the fabric surface. Let stand 1–2 minutes. Brush gently. Vacuum thoroughly to a dry finish. Do not soak — excess moisture can damage fabric.
